GURL, WHERE U BEEN?????
turns out my 20 days of the 30 day photo challenge was challenge enough for me.
so we took a little family vacation to nags head north carolina. it just
wouldn't be summer if i didn't get some carolina sand between my toes.
then got evacuated over Irene, came home and got evacuated again!
we were lucky...just a bunch of limbs and mess in the yard. which forced us to clean up, and it's never looked better!

TEXTURE TIME
the other day i decided i need some new photograph material for all this altering im into. so i gathered up some chotchkies and headed out to the back yard. it's a good thing i have a privacy fence....although i did put on a show for the birdies and the orange beast (aka al-beast my orange tabby cat, alby. named after the Australian adventurer Alby Mangals...remember him???)
and, o yea, i collect nests and deer (smile)
